What To Expect On Your Backwater Fishing Charter
Fish the Backwaters, calm bays and flats with light tackle for a variety of Species such as Snook, Redfish, Sea Trout, Snapper, Pompano, Sheepshead, Flounder, Sharks and More! Florida Estuaries are home to Hundreds of species of fish, most of which start their lives very close to the mangrove coastlines found in Southwest Florida. Afterall, an estuary is known as the beggining of life! We fish near the rich oyster bars, luscious grass flats, and intangling mangrove roots. Also Southwest Florida has over 200 species of birds, 2 marine mammals(West Indian Manatee, Atlantic Bottlenosed Dolphin), 5 species of sea turtle, sting rays, sharks, and more! More serious anglers may want to target a specific species or go after a flats"Grand Slam", while a family may seek to fish for a few hours, then go on a wildlife scavenger hunt! Looking to eat some fish? No worries, most species are safe/desirable to eat. At the end of the trip our crew will clean, bag and ice your catch.
Fishing Liscense, Lively Bait, Tackle, Ice, Bottled Water, Fish cleaning and All Equipment provided. Just Bring Snacks, drinks, Medications, Sunscreen, Hats, Polarized Sunglasses. Departure times and locations vary. Safety is our most important factor, seasonally trip times may be changed in the event of inclement weather.
**Note**It is never a bad idea to take motion sickness meds before going on the water. Although most of the waters we fish are very calm, I have seen the Saltiest of sailors get sick, and will admit i do take some myself on occasion.
